I took the pic above at the Apalachicola waterfront on Tuesday morning. Blue skies will give way to rain squalls and increasing winds later today.
I wanted to also mention that the U-Surge Project launched a site for Apalachicola. Now you can follow Michael's water level in comparison to 40 other hurricanes and tropical storms from the past!
As of 500AM this morning, Michael's water level ranked 34th above the annual Mean Sea Level (sea-level rise removed).
